Forex: GBP/USD rallies through 1.4520/30 range top
The Pound is rallying across the board favored by on rumours of Prudential backing off from AIG's Asian operations AIA takeover deal; GBP/USD upmove from 1.4365 low on Asian session has extended to levels above 1.4520/30 range top, to reach 2-weeks high at 1.4580.
On the upside, if the pair holds above 1.4520/30, next resistance level could be at 1.4640 (May 14 high), and above here, 1.4720 (May 11 low) and 1.4815/25 (May 12 low/intra-day level).
On the downside, support levels lie at 1.4450 (previous highs), and below here, 1.4370/80 (session lows) and 1.4315/30 (May 21/26 low).
